Police are renewing their appeal for information following a serious road traffic collision on the A6 from Carleton to High Hesket, Carleton, in Carlisle yesterday.
Police were called at 3:34pm, Friday January 27, following a collision where a involving two cars.
The road was closed in both directions from the Golden Fleece to Low Hesket.
Police, Ambulance and Fire attended the scene.
A man was taken to The Cumberland Infirmary with serious injuries and a female passenger was also treated for minor injuries.
