Carlisle cemetery has been closed by Cumberland Council after Storm Kathleen caused tree damage within the grounds.
Storm Kathleen brought strong, gale force winds to the city on Saturday, April 6 and Cumberland Council has closed the cemetery to assess the damage caused to the trees.
Storm Isha earlier this year caused damage to multiple trees in the cemetery grounds and forced the closure of the cemetery.
Funeral services planned for Monday, April 8 will go ahead as planned but the grounds will be closed in the morning whilst further assessment takes place.
