AN AI image generator has visualised what Carlisle would look like if it was featured in films from a variety of genres.
Microsoft Bing's Artificial Intelligence image generator represents the next leap forward in accessible AI technology, and allows users to input prompts and have them created into vivid images in a variety of styles.
Previously we asked this AI to create seven different Carlisle-based scenarios which included questions such as, what would Carlisle look like if it was transported 1,000 years into the future? And what would the celebrations in Carlisle look like if Carlisle United won the Premier League?
In addition, we asked this image generator to use its artificial intelligence to show us what people from Carlisle would look like from decade to decade in the 20th century.
Now, we tested the capabilities of the AI image generator by asking it to show us what Carlisle would look like if it were featured in films from different genres, and given the results, don't be surprised if the next Christopher Nolan epic has a distinct Cumbrian flavour.
