THE last week has been an extremely busy one in Cumbria, with new shops set to open and court cases concluding, all while dealing with the extreme weather that Storm Jocelyn and Storm Isha threw at the border city.

Trailfinders to open a new shop in Carlisle city centre

Travel company Trailfinders is set to open a new centre on English Street in Carlisle early next month, its 44th overall. Trailfinders will open the centre, situated at 17-19 English Street, on February 9.
