A CASUALTY was administered oxygen therapy after a fire involving one large artic trailer in the early hours of the morning.
At 12.05am this morning, December 9, three fire engines attended an incident on the A689 at Houghton.
The fire involved one large artic trailer. Firefighters used two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
One casualty was administered oxygen therapy for smoke inhalation by fire service personnel.
The casualty declined any further hospital treatment. Crews were detained over one hour.
