A popular comedian will be performing in Cumbria next year as part of his solo stand-up tour.

Ross Noble, who rose to prominence after many appearances on British TV panel shows like Have I Got News For You, will be embarking on his Jibber Jabber Jamboree tour.

This will be the comedian’s 21st solo stand-up tour and, to celebrate this milestone, he invites you to join him for an evening of the sort of inspired nonsense that has cemented his place as, what he has been called, the ‘supreme master of stream-of-consciousness freewheeling stand-up’.

The Northumberland-raised comedian will take to the Sands Centre stage on Sunday, November 19, 2023.

This follows on from his 2021 tour Humournoid, which also had a stop at The Sands Centre, of which the comedian said he began thinking of himself as “a comedy version of an android… like some sort of comedy experiment, some sort of Frankenstein’s monster.

“When you say it out loud, it sounds like ‘haemorrhoid’.

“I’ve got this idea that people will turn up to the show with creams, lotions, and doughnut-shaped cushions.

"In one way I over-thought it, and then also didn’t think it through, which perfectly describes what I do.”

With this sort of attitude, there’s no telling really what audience members are in store for with this new tour, apart from a barrel of laughs.

Tickets go on sale online from 10am on Thursday, December 1.
