POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a burglary in which 'high-value' fishing equipment was stolen in Whitehaven.
The incident occurred between 5pm on November 18 and the early hours of November 19, from an outbuilding at an address on Earls Road.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Constabulary said: "Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it, quoting incident number 50 of 19 November 2022. You can also phone on 101.
"Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111," they said.
