Police are investigating a reported hate related public order incident on Middlegate, Penrith.
The incident occurred at a restaurant on August 1, 2022, between 9:30pm and 10:00pm.

A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "The incident reported involved two men. One man is reported to have been racially, verbally abusive to the other man and made threats of violence."
Police are appealing for members of the public who witnessed the incident to contact police.
