A PROPOSAL to change the use of a former bank to a café/bar is amongst the proposals submitted to Carlisle City Council in the last seven days.
Lakeland Panorama Limited has submitted an application to convert 35-37 Castle Street from a bank into a café/bar.
Persimmon Homes has requested permission to display one freestanding sign and four flag poles on land adjacent to Carleton Farm, London Road.

Plans have been submitted to demolish the existing timber conservatory at The Birches in Castle Carrock and build a single storey rear extension, providing a garden room.
Elgin Energy has applied for permission to develop infrastructure at land at High Park Foot in Carlisle. The works will include the use of an existing access track and creation of new cable routes serving a solar power facility which has already been approved.

The Rectory at Warwick Bridge has applied for planning permission to change part of a gravel path into sandstone, engraved with words for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
