In the Smurfit Kappa Premier Division, Workington Athletic continued their fine form with a 1-0 victory on the road at Carlisle City to extend their position at the summit, with a goal from Stuart Gray.
Silloth failed to keep tabs on the leaders, going down 3-1 on the road at Netherhall.
Owen Hoyles and Sean Smith scored for Netherhall, while the other goal was an own goal, with Andy Hardman getting the visitors' consolation.
Whitehaven Miners got their first win of the season at the hands of close neighbours Mirehouse 6-3.
A brace each for Miners' Chris Moore and Ryan McCourt got Whitehaven on their way, with Paul McNally and James Shepherd getting one each.
Alan Sim got two and there was also one for Ryan Smith for Mirehouse.
In Division One, leaders Cleator Moor Celtic slipped up at home to Borough by the odd goal in five.
Gavin Martin, Tom Barton and Niall Melton were on target for Borough with Edwards and Fowler scoring for Celtic.
Bransty made the long trip to Unisun but came away with nothing with the home side winning 4-1.
Dorward, Dryden, Tyson and Ali scored for Unisun, with Jamie Thursby getting Rangers' consolation.
Miners Reserve's game against Windscale was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
