WORKINGTON AFC have been handed a home tie against Marske United in the Emirates FA Cup first qualifying round.
The draw, announced by the Football Association on Monday, sees the Reds host the Northern League side at Fibrus Community Stadium on Saturday, September 5, kick off at 3pm.
Workington AFC enter the competition at the first qualifying round stage alongside other Step 3 clubs, with victory taking them one step closer to the lucrative first round proper.
The tie comes as the Reds look to improve on last season's FA Cup campaign, which ended before they could make a significant run through the qualifying rounds.
Marske, meanwhile, have already come through the opening stages of this season's competition to book their place in the draw, as they beat Consett 2-1.
The full first qualifying round draw was released by the FA on August 24, with 112 ties scheduled to be played across the weekend of September 5.
