The game continued to go end to end with neither side able to breach the other again until Guy Graham breached the defence of the visitors with a crash ball for 18-24 on the hour.
A suspicious call went the way of Town on 66 minutes when a knock went unnoticed.
Town went to play the set out but were guilty of a seven tackle set as Doran kicked out on the full.
Town were down 2 substitute when Ryan Johnson booted Galea in the head and elbowed Weir with no consequences to the Midlands man.
The Canes saw it out to claim another win to leave Town fans frustrated.
