Carlisle United are odds-on with bookmakers to return to winning ways against Hartlepool United tonight.

The Blues, after consecutive defeats, take on Simon Grayson's visitors at Brunton Park.

Mark Hughes' fourth-placed side are 4/5 for victory with BetMGM, 8/11 for the points with Bet365 and 3-4 with SpreadEx to get the better of the Monkey Hangers.

Hartlepool, who have won two, drawn two and lost two on the road so far in 2025/26, are 31/10 with Bet365 to win at Brunton Park for the first time since 2011.

The ninth-placed visitors are also 3/1 for victory with William Hill and 11/4 with BoyleSports.

The draw at Brunton Park is 29/10.

Regan Linney is the bookies' favourite to open the scoring in tonight's game at a price of 4/1.

Former Pools striker Luke Armstrong is 9/2 to get the first goal, with Junior Luamba 11/2, Georgie Kelly 6/1 and Stephen Wearne 7/1.

Longer shots for the opener in the United ranks include Callum Whelan at 11/1, Alex Gilliead at 16/1, Jack Ellis at 25/1 and Archie Davies at 33/1.

For Hartlepool, recent signing Vadaine Oliver is 7/1 to open the scoring with Danny Johnson also 7/1.

Matty Daly is 11/1, Luke Charman 17/2 and Nathan Sheron 20/1.

The visitors also have two former Carlisle players in their ranks, with defender Tom Parkes 50/1 to net first against his old club, and forward Adam Campbell 17/2.

The Blues are 7/1 for a 1-0 win on home soil, 15/2 for a 2-1 win and 12/1 for a repeat of 2023's 3-1 victory.

Pools are 14/1 to win 2-1 - the result when they last won at Brunton Park 14 years and seven visits ago - whilst a 1-0 away victory is also 14/1.

A 1-1 draw is priced 13/2 and a 0-0 draw has odds of 12/1.
