Barrow head coach Andy Whing has revealed the squad has been hit by illness this week -forcing temporary closures of the club’s training ground ahead of Saturday’s League Two clash with Crawley.
The Bluebirds face Crawley Town away as they look for back-to-back wins for the first time in this League Two campaign.
Whing said: “We’ve just had a bit of a bad illness this week where we’ve had to shut down the training ground for long periods.
"One or two might feel the effects of that but all injuries come through last week.”
Despite the setback, Whing is confident his team can maintain the momentum from last week’s victory over Crewe.
He said: “We’ve got a few players back now and hopefully we can get on a bit of a run."
