CARLISLE United have announced that Cumbrian brand Aqua Pura will be the club's official shirt sponsor for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

The Armathwaite-based mineral water brand has been the Blues' shorts sponsor for the last three years, however, will now feature as the club's official sponsor on its new kit which is set to be launched at the end of June.

Aqua Pura will also continue as Carlisle United's official water supplier.

The news also comes a matter of days after the club had thanked fellow local business Bimson Haulage after its front-of-shirt partnership with the club ended.

Speaking on the club's website after the announcement of the new partnership with Aqua Pura, Carlisle United chief executive Nigel Clibbens expressed his delight.

He said: "We are delighted to welcome Aqua Pura as our official shirt sponsor. It is a fantastic business and one we are proud to be partnered with.

"Aqua Pura and Roxane are investing in our region and its people and supporting us along the way which is terrific.

"Seeing Aqua Pura grace our shirts as the team and fans travel the UK will be superb.

"We can’t wait to unveil the kit."

Terri Cooper, Aqua Pura's marketing manager added: "We’re so proud of Carlisle United that we put our name on it.

"We’re chuffed to extend our support of Carlisle United by becoming next season’s official shirt sponsor.

"Our Eden Valley colleagues and their families are passionate fans of the team and regularly attend matches to cheer them on, which they’ll now do with added enthusiasm.

"We believe in the journey Carlisle United are on and we will be cheering the team on from the stands."
