Carlisle United are 3/1 to complete a league double over Shrewsbury Town this afternoon.

The Blues head to the Croud Meadow to take on one of just four of the sides they've beaten in League One this season.

After winning 2-0 over the Shrews last September, BoyleSports price an away victory this afternoon at 3/1 with 11/4 offered by William Hill for a Blues triumph.

Shrewsbury, who sit 17th, are favourites to hand Paul Simpson a losing return to the club where he was manager from 2008 to 2010.

Paul Hurst's side are 17/20 for victory with LiveScoreBet and 20/21 with BetVictor.

The draw is 5/2.

This afternoon sees another reunion with Morgan Feeney, the defender who left United for the Shrews last summer and who clashed with Simpson after September's encounter in Cumbria.

Feeney, who has yet to score for Shrewsbury, is 33/1 to get the game's first goal against his former club, and 16/1 to find the net at any stage in the game.

United's Luke Armstrong is 8/1 to open the scoring for the third consecutive game, with Jack Diamond 12/1 for the opener and Taylor Charters 22/1.

Longer shots for the first goal include Harrison Neal at 28/1, Jon Mellish at 35/1 and Josh Emmanuel at 45/1.

For the Shrews, eight-goal Dan Udoh is 6/1 favourite to strike first, with ex-Carlisle man Ryan Bowman 7/1.

Tom Bloxham is 9/1 while Carl Winchester is 22/1 and Mal Benning 30/1.

Carlisle are 18/1 to make it back-to-back 2-0 wins against the Shrews this season.

A third consecutive 3-2 defeat for the Cumbrians - also the score on their last visit to today's ground, in the League Cup last season, as well as the famous Brian Wake-inspired relegation-beating win at Shrewsbury's former Gay Meadow home in 2003 - is priced 33/1.

Carlisle's last win at the ground was a 1-0 victory in the League Cup in 2008 when Simpson was the home side's manager - a similar scoreline today is 9/1.

Hurst's side are 8/1 to win 2-1 and 18/1 to prevail 3-0.
