Veteran former Carlisle United midfield favourite Mike Jones has signed a new deal with the National League's leaders.
Chesterfield have extended his stay at the club until the summer of 2025.
It is a reward for Jones' performances for Paul Cook's side since he joined the Spireites in the summer of 2022.
Jones, 36, has made 16 appearances so far this season and helped Chesterfield open up an eight-point gap at the top of non-league's top tier.
It is the latest stage of a career which included four years at Carlisle from 2016 to 2020.

Jones, signed by Keith Curle, made 158 appearances and scored three goals for the Cumbrians.
The ex-Tranmere Rovers, Bury, Sheffield Wednesday, Crawley Town and Oldham Athletic man joined Barrow after leaving Carlisle.
After 18 appearances in two injury-hit campaigns in south Cumbria, he had a successful trial at Chesterfield and can now look forward to continuing at the SMH Group Stadium into his 38th year.
