Peter Murphy's Annan Athletic are safely through to the Scottish League One play-off final.

There were no second-leg scares for the Galabankies as they held Dumbarton to a 0-0 draw.

That sealed a 6-0 aggregate victory - and means Annan will face Clyde in the final.

That means a first leg at Galabank on Tuesday night with the second leg at Clyde's New Douglas Park on Friday.

Both games kick off at 7.35pm and will be televised live on BBC Alba.

It will see Murphy's men aim to go one better than last season, when they were denied promotion to Scotland's third tier by Edinburgh City in the play-off final.

Annan got most of the semi-final job done in the first leg when they demolished Dumbarton with a six-goal salvo.

At the Rock on Saturday afternoon a clean sheet denied Dumbarton any chance of an unlikely comeback.

Carlisle loan defender Max Kilsby was again in the Annan side and played the full game as Murphy's team kept Stevie Farrell's side at bay.

Clyde, meanwhile, booked their place in the final with an extra-time aggregate win over East Fife on Friday night.

Leading 1-0 from the first leg, Jim Duffy's side were pegged back by a Scott Shepherd goal.

But Martin Rennie's goal in the second half of extra time earned Clyde a 2-1 aggregate win.

They are hoping to maintain their third-tier place after finishing ninth in the League One season.

It will be a repeat of 2019's play-off final when Clyde got the better of Annan 2-1 on aggregate.
