Cumbrian goalkeeping star Dean Henderson is a possible summer target for Tottenham Hotspur according to reports.

The Manchester United man, who is on loan at Nottingham Forest, is among the names  Spurs have been considering.

That is according to football.london, who say the north London club are scouring the market for a long-term successor to Hugo Lloris.

Henderson is one of the main English options they are said to be looking at, with the Whitehaven star's own long-term status at Old Trafford unclear.

The Cumbrian is spending this season on loan at Forest and had impressed for the City Ground club until suffering a recent thigh injury.

Henderson criticised his treatment at Man Utd last season in a Talksport interview early in this campaign.

Should the England international be in the frame for a permanent departure, it would be of interest to his first club Carlisle United.

The Blues stand to benefit from a sell-on clause in the deal that took Henderson from their academy to Old Trafford in 2011.

The football.london report also names Valencia's Giorgi Mamardashvili, Brentford's David Raya, Brighton's Robert Sanchez and AC Milan's Mike Maignan as keepers Spurs are considering.

Henderson remains on the sidelines at Forest with Keylor Navas having taken his place in recent weeks.
