Carlisle United are flying high in League Two with a promotion challenge very much in their sights.

The Denton Holme midfielder has an overall rating on WhoScore.com of 7.49, putting him ahead of the likes of Stevenage’s Carl Piergianni, Northampton Town’s Sam Hoskins and Harrogate Town’s Luke Armstrong. Moxon’s fellow Carlisle-born player Huntington is Carlisle’s second highest-rated player. The centre-back, from 21 appearances, has an average rating of 6.98, with his average successful aerial challenges per game of five a strong feature of his statistics.

Next for the Blues is hard-working midfielder Callum Guy, who has started 24 of United’s 25 league games. His average tackle count of 2.5 is strong amid the data that gives him an average rating of 6.85.

Carlisle’s fourth highest performer, according to WhoScored, is captain Feeney, whose 17 league outings yield an average rating of 6.84. He scores well with an average of 1.4 interceptions and 2.5 clearances from the heart of the Blues’ defence.

Wing-back Armer is United’s only outfield ever-present in the league, and he scores well on WhoScored.com with an average mark of 6.82. Armer’s five assists are notable as well as some consistent scoring in a number of other areas.

Mr Versatile, Jon Mellish, is next for the Blues. The defender-cum-midfielder is in the mix with an average of 3.5 clearances as well as 1.8 tackles, helping earn him an average score of 6.79.
