A SIXTEEN-year-old Carlisle United fan and graphic designer has reimagined the Blues' home kit.
Mabon Rowlands lives in Gwynedd, North Wales but has links to Carlisle through his father's side of the family and regularly attends United games at Brunton Park.
Mabon 'fell in love with the atmosphere and charisma of Brunton Park and Carlisle United' after first seeing the Blues face Oldham Athletic.
Now a passion for Paul Simpson's side and graphic design has led the young blue to put a spin on Carlisle's iconic blue home kit.
Mabon explained why he wanted to do this.
He said: "I have always been interested in design and a fan of football, therefore in my spare time I design 'concept football shirts'.
"I have always loved how a football shirt represents the history and nostalgia of a football club. For many football fans this sense of nostalgia can be achieved by a sponsor for example.
"In Carlisle United's case many fans would agree with me saying that 'Eddie Stobart' would be our most notorious sponsor. During the past few months I have set out to design 'retro' and 'modern' Carlisle United concept football shirts."
Mabon also detailed how in the future he dreams of working with the Blues and their kit manufacturer to design a future Carlisle United football shirt.
Which one of Mabon's re-desgined Carlisle kits is your favourite? Let us know in the comments.
