Former Carlisle United attacker Gime Toure is back on the move.

He has left National League strugglers Yeovil Town.

The Glovers announced Toure was moving on by mutual agreement.

He made just 13 appearances for the Somerset side, scoring twice, and has not featured since early November.

Toure, who was released by Carlisle last summer, made just two sub appearances since Yeovil brought in former Barrow boss Mark Cooper as manager.

The French player, 28, had joined Yeovil under previous boss Chris Hargreaves.

He leaves the Huish Park club 19th in the National League.

A Yeovil statement said: "Gime Touré is to leave Yeovil Town by mutual agreement, with immediate effect.

"The French forward joined the club in August 2022 and netted twice in 13 appearances in green and white.

"We would like to thank Gime for his contribution during his time at Huish Park and wish him well in all his future endeavours."

Former Hartlepool United and Sutton United man Toure made 45 appearances and scored four goals in two campaigns for the Blues.

He also had a spell in the National League on loan with Aldershot Town last season.
