Carlisle United's Fin Back has been named in the latest League Two team of the week.

The Nottingham Forest loan star is recognised for his impressive performance in the 3-2 defeat to Leyton Orient.

Back returned to the Blues side after a hamstring injury and went on to produce an all-action display.

His performance included an assist for Jordan Gibson as ten-man Carlisle attempted to stage a fightback against the leaders.

It was Back's 14th appearance since joining Paul Simpson's side on a season-long loan from Premier League new boys Forest.

Simpson was impressed with the 20-year-old's latest showing, saying after the game: "I thought he was outstanding. Heโ€™s been outstanding all season to be fair.

"He got himself into some good areas, and was probably better when we were down to ten men.

"I thought he showed great energy and a real purpose about the way he wanted to play."

Back's selection in the team of the week, which is based on ratings from the WhoScored.com statistical website, comes after four Blues players featured in last week's XI.

This week, Back is joined by Orient's two-goal Theo Archibald, along with players from Gillingham, Bradford City, Sutton United, Harrogate Town and Stevenage.

Ex-Blues striker Ashley Nadesan is noe of two Crawley Town players included, while tomorrow night's opponents Stockport County have two inclusions in Will Collar and Myles Hippolyte.

Manager of the week is Northampton Town's Jon Brady after their 3-2ย win at Stevenage.
