Calling all Blues fans! Now is the perfect time to join a revamped CUOSC and help give supporters a real voice within the club.

The new CUOSC board are determined to work together over the coming weeks to increase current membership numbers.

We have nearly 600 at the moment but would love to see that figure pushing the 1,000 mark and beyond.

It is important because CUOSC owns a 25.4 per cent voting stake on the club’s Holdings Board. That’s a position envied by many supporters’ groups around the country.

The more members we have the louder our voice can be.

On the field manager Paul Simpson has ensured the outlook is more hopeful than it has been for some time. And he has presented us with a great opportunity to unite the fans

CUOSC belongs to the supporters and can take your views into United’s boardroom.

Why not sign up at the Swindon game at Brunton Park this Saturday? We are planning to have a presence in the fan zone behind the West stand before the game. If you miss us you can join from our website at www.cuosc.org.uk

It costs £10 for an adult for a year and £5 for seniors and Under-18s. Benefits include a 10% discount in the club shop and priority for tickets at some games.

The new-look CUOSC board now has ten directors.

We are all united in wanting what is best for supporters and the club, and the hope is we can get even more fans involved.

The first board meeting since the AGM will take place later this month although a couple of introductory meetings have been scheduled.

Billy Atkinson, CUOSC’s representative on the Holdings Board, said: “We need to take this opportunity to go forward. It’s time for everyone to work together.”

Having taken four points from their opening two league games United should be in a confident mood for the clash with Swindon.

The Robins, with former Blues winger Harry McKirdy in their ranks, outclassed us last season and ended the reign of boss Keith Millen.

McKirdy can be sure of a hot reception and fans will be hoping that, this time, he will be the one leaving with his tail between his legs.
