They have followed the Blues from afar for many years now.
And Carlisle United's devoted Norwegian fans were certainly not going to miss out on the start of a new season.
Their latest gathering came to mark the first game of the 2022/23 campaign.
Some 13 Scandinavian supporters got together to watch iFollow footage of Paul Simpson's side beating Crawley Town on Saturday.
Mostly from Flekkefjord, they are dedicated supporters of the Cumbrians and produce a regular fanzine entitled 'Cumbrian Norsemen'.
They also provide sponsorship of the Blues and aim to visit Brunton Park every season - with a visit in the autumn planned for this campaign to mark 20 years since the branch formed.
The fans attending the opening-day gathering in the icture above are (back row) Knut Ove Johannesen, Ole Skarpenes, Stian Formoe and Ivar Eigeland, and (front) Jan Egil Malde, Morten Birkeland, Steve Træland, Svein Skarpenes, Yngve Sirnes, Yngve Fodnestøl, Kai Birger Amundsen, Arne Hobbesland and Pål B. Meier.
