Carlisle United's directors, shareholders and manager will face supporters next week at a fans' forum.

The event is being held by Carlisle United Supporters’ Groups and will see a selection of the club's top brass - along with Paul Simpson - speak with the Brunton Park faithful ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Billy Atkinson, Lord Clark, Nigel Clibbens, Suzanne Kidd, John Nixon, Steven Pattison and Simpson will all be in attendance.

Foxy's Restaurant will host the forum on Thursday, June 30 with a 6:30pm start. The evening is free to attend, and will also be streamed via YouTube.

The capacity will be limited to 100 with first priority given to 2022/23 season ticket holders, who can book their place now by emailing seasontickets@carlisleunited.co.uk and including all the names of those who wish to attend.

Subject to space, general bookings will commence at 10am on Thursday, June 23.

Carlisle United Supporters’ Groups rep and supporter liaison officer Simon Clarkson said of the event: “It’s great that we’re kicking pre-season off with a forum, and that the directors and shareholders will be joined this time by the manager.

“This gives fans the opportunity to ask questions and get updates across all areas of the club, from boardroom matters with the directors to football matters with Simmo.

“We say this every time, but these events are popular, and we encourage everybody who can to come along and ask their questions in person on the night.

“For those who can’t make it, as usual the event will again be streamed live via the club’s YouTube channel as this has proved to be a very popular method of providing coverage previously.”
