Dean Henderson remains in the summer sights of Newcastle United, according to new reports.
Manchester United's Cumbrians goalkeeper could be in line for a departure from Old Trafford after playing second fiddle to David de Gea this season.
And Newcastle are still keen on the Whitehaven star, whose transfer status at Man Utd is also of interest to his boyhood club Carlisle.
The Blues could benefit from a sell-on clause should 25-year-old Henderson make a big-money move.
The Mail today report that Newcastle have drawn up a list of goalkeeping targets which includes Henderson as well as Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Henderson had been in the frame for a January switch to St James' Park but a move did not materialise, with Man Utd interim boss Ralf Rangnick having said he wanted the Cumbrian to remain at the club for the rest of the season.
Newcastle, who are looking increasingly likely to stay up in the Premier League, are likely to ramp up their spending soon following this season's Saudi-funded takeover.
Henderson, having forced his way into the Man Utd team last season, has made just three starts this campaign and is keen to return to the front line.
While he has previously also been linked with Tottenham Hotspure and Ajax, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has also reported Newcastle's continued interest in the one-cap England keeper:
Newcastle are interested in Dean Henderson since last January, he’s always been one of three goalkeepers in the list for NUFC. 🏴 #NUFC

Man United will make a decision about Dean in the summer whether let him go on loan or not. He wants to play as starter next season.
