Carlisle United return to Mansfield Town tonight - the scene of some eventful encounters over the years.

We've raided the YouTube annals to pick out a handful of particularly memorable trips to Field Mill.

And there's an obvious place to start.

1. 2006

United's last promotion was memorably clinched at this ground in 2006. Paul Simpson's side got over the line via a 1-1 draw earned thanks to a thoroughly ugly but also incredibly beautiful goal from Karl Hawley. This happy footage, four minutes and 20 seconds of magic, is also notable for the line: "That's our physio. He's mental."

2. 2004

Another barmy afternoon at the other end of the table. Carlisle, clinging onto a 3-2 lead and their Football League status, conceded a late penalty. Cue Matty Glennon, and some epic scenes...

3. 1995

The Division Three title season under Mick Wadsworth - and a Cumbrian double-act, as Richard Prokas notched a rare goal before supersub Jeff Thorpe won it...

4. 1994

David Reeves, that lovely white, red and blue away kit, and a sweet, patient finish from United's then record signing...

5. 1999

One from United's forgettable 1999/2000 campaign - a very tidy early-season equaliser at Field Mill from veteran frontman Paul Baker

6. 2019

A more recent offering, but certainly a memorable one as United, 2-0 down with the clock ticking, mounted a dramtic comeback in front of a busy away end, thanks to Elliot Watt and JJ Kayode.
