Carlisle United caretaker boss Gavin Skelton rued the "ifs, buts and maybes" of the Blues' attacking efforts in the goalless draw with Oldham.
United drew a blank against Keith Curle's fellow strugglers at Brunton Park.
Skelton spoke afterwards about Carlisle's shortcomings in the final third - while praising keeper Mark Howard's impact at the other end.
