Carlisle United have been hit with an FA charge over stormy scenes in last weekend's defeat at Sutton.
Their opponents have also been charged by the Football Association.
It concerns a 55th-minute flashpoint when players clashed after a challenge by Blues sub Manny Mampala on Sutton's Joe Kizzi.
Mampala was booked for the challenge while United's Brennan Dickenson and Sutton's Ben Goodliffe were booked for their part in the angry scuffles that followed.
Mampala was later sent off after receiving a second yellow for another challenge.
The FA announced details of the charge this afternoon and United confirmed they have accepted the charge.
The FA said: Sutton United FC and Carlisle United FC have been charged with a breach of FA Rule E20.1 following their fixture on Saturday [25/09/21] in the EFL League Two.
"Both clubs allegedly failed to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the 55th minute and they have until Monday [04/10/21] to provide their respective responses."
Sutton have yet to comment.
