He has become Carlisle United's latest signing.

Jordan Gibson, the Sligo Rovers attacking midfielder, has signed a two-year deal with the Blues.

And supporters will be hoping to see plenty of this in a blue shirt from the new boy:

One of the highlights of the ex-Bradford and Rangers man's time with the League of Ireland club was that stunning strike against Waterford.

It came in a 2-1 win for Sligo earlier this year.

The 23-year-old was previously with St Patrick's Athletic...

And before that he had a three-year spell at Bradford, which included a solitary goal in Bantams colours...

Gibson had joined Bradford in 2017 from Rangers. The teenager didn't make the grade at Ibrox but starred for the Glasgow outfit's Under-20s:

Now Gibson will hope to repeat some of his best work with the Cumbrians.
