It was another valuable victory for Carlisle United at Southend United as Offrande Zanzala and Gime Toure scored in a 2-0 victory.

Here's what Blues supporters made of the win at Roots Hall, which put Chris Beech's side three points off the play-off places.

Poor watch but an important win, Zanzala is the man and he’s now our most important player, things have improved the last week and today showed that even if it wasn’t a classic, credit to Beech and the lads for digging in looking forward for 3 more points Tuesday (@NavyDave94)

Solid enough win against a poor side. Was comfortable once the 2nd went in. Good to see Gime on the scoresheet! (@CowellLes1975)

Southend didn’t offer anything going forward. Carlisle didn’t create a huge amount but deserved the win. Two very good finishes won the game. A 2-0 away win is a brilliant result. (@f_analytics)

Poor game but who cares? Great and deserved three points. Southend are going down. Let's get 27 more points and see where it takes us. :-) (@scholes_peter)

All about three points. They never really troubled Farman and although we didn't create too much we were still comfortable. Armer looked solid again, Guy, especially first half looked more like his old self, winning the ball back. Big game Tues, given ourselves a sniff again. (@BenJoseph0157)

Massive win. Opposition poor but that’s the sort of game we would have lost a couple of weeks ago. Makes it an exciting end to the season. (@mattselliott)

3 points, 2 great goals, clean sheet. Nothing else really matters at this stage of the season. Do that another 6 or 7 times in the games we have left and we won’t be worrying too much about the quality of the performance or game. (@jpastalker)

lovely stuff, a win to enjoy in the garden with friends. Looking close to our old selves, nice that Gime got a goal. The charge is back on. BJaFN (@Robbie_Burnside)

We’ve returned the favour Jamie Devitt  did us yesterday #dreamisalive (@alanjsinclair)

Such a valuable three points. Southend reflected their league position but Beech’s boys still had to do their job. Another win on Tuesday and a play-off finish is more than attainable. Still not letting myself get too giddy yet (@nathan_ridley_)

Not an easy watch but you can't knock two wins on the bounce with back to back clean sheets. Two real moments of quality - great finishes. Zanzala really dragging the side forward at the moment. Considering the feel around the club a week ago real credit to Beech & the players. (@BackoSkiddaw)

3 points! Away win, clean sheet, and everyone's happy Easter. (@stansanczuk)

Excellent win. Good learning curve for the younger team members and collective team spirit in abundance. Up the Blues. (@RonnieSmith1964)

More of the same please. (@Alan_Matthews)

Solid enough. 3 points was all that mattered. Our corners are a disgrace. Just pump them in the box. (@Anthony_W76)

Not great but got the job done! Getting hopes up again of finishing in top 7 again! Typical Carlisle! We don’t do boring seasons #cufc (@cufcdanny)

3 points is what it’s all about whether it’s poor opposition or not the goals need to be put into the back of the net so 2-0 is good it’s that extra bit of confidence that’s taken into the next game.... (@Alistairwest6)
