Former Carlisle United winger Liam McCarron today made his international debut.
The teenager, who joined Leeds from Carlisle last summer, started for Scotland Under-19s in their 1-0 friendly victory against the Czech Republic in Spain.
McCarron, from Appleby, was called up by Scotland coach Billy Stark for two friendlies against the Czechs in Pinatar, Spain.
The 18-year-old did not feature in the first of those games on Tuesday but was included in the second encounter today.
McCarron has regularly featured in Leeds’ under-23 side this season following his transfer to the Championship club.
The ex-United academy player made 20 first-team appearances for Carlisle last term, including four starts.
