Cumbrian Dean Henderson is the subject of fresh transfer speculation with Paris Saint-Germain the latest club to be linked with the talented goalkeeper.
The French club are reportedly considering a summer move for the Manchester United keeper, who is on loan with Sheffield United.
Former Carlisle academy keeper Henderson, from Whitehaven, has again caught the eye this season and is tipped for a place in England’s Euro 2020 squad.
The 22-year-old faces a fight to dislodge David De Gea as No1 at Old Trafford and the Mail say PSG, Tottenham and Chelsea are all monitoring the situation.
Sheffield United would also like to keep Henderson beyond this campaign with the keeper having played a key part in their rise to fifth in the Premier League.
Carlisle, who could benefit from a sell-on clause following Henderson’s move to Man Utd from the Blues aged 15, will also be keeping tabs on the situation.
Cumbrians chairman Andrew Jenkins this week confirmed the club retain a "financial interest" in both Henderson and Aberdeen's ex-Blues striker Sam Cosgrove, who has also been linked with big-money moves.
