The state of Carlisle United and their supporters’ trust will be debated when CUOSC hold a members’ meeting before tomorrow’s game.

Jim Mitchell and Billy Atkinson, who represent the trust on the two boards at Brunton Park, will answer fans’ questions.

The meeting has been called at a time some supporters have criticised both the running of the club and the approach of CUOSC.

It will get under way, in the Sunset Suite, at 11am, with doors opening at 10.30am. It will end no later than 12.30pm.

CUOSC say there is no fixed agenda, although the results of a recent members’ survey are likely to be discussed.

The trust asked fans how satisfied they were with the running of the club, how valued they feel and views on the “matchday experience”.

Other major topics for debate could include recent investment speculation and the resignation of CUOSC chair John Kukuc over a mystery “proposal” at the top level of the club, as revealed by The Cumberland News.

CUOSC and United, are holding an appeal to help Carlisle Foodbank tomorrow. The main collection point is the Study Centre from 1.30-2.30pm.

The trust say UHT or powdered milk, toiletries, nappies, baby wipes and household cleaning products would be appreciated as well as food items.
