Three senior figures – including two club directors – will be standing for re-election at supporters trust CUOSC’s annual general meeting.
Jim Mitchell and Billy Atkinson, who represent the fan group on United’s two boards, are hoping to be elected to the CUOSC board for another three years.
They along with long-serving Norman Steel – also a former Blues director – will stand for re-election at the AGM this Sunday.
Mitchell is CUOSC’s representative on United’s operational board, while Atkinson sits on the CUFC Holdings board.
The AGM gets under way in Foxy’s restaurant at Brunton Park from 11am. It will be followed by a Q&A session for members and a raffle.
CUOSC have invited others to stand for board positions, saying they are “particularly keen to attract younger board members and to increase our female contingent.”
They also say “particularly welcome” would be people with skills in accountancy, IT, law, business and voluntary/community work.
As of mid-June, CUOSC reported they had 518 members.
