Longtown badminton star Lauren Smith has been selected in Team GB's 93-strong squad for the European Games.
Smith, 27, is one of eight badminton players named in the British squad which is led by husband-and-wife duo Chris and Gabby Adcock.
Also included, along with Smith, are Chloe Birch, Marcus Ellis, Kirsty Gilmour, Chris Langridge and Toby Penty.
In December, five-time Commonwealth Games medallist Smith said she was targeting qualification for the event this year which will be held in Minsk, Belarus, with no Olympic or Commonwealth Games to look forward to in 2019.
It will run from June 21 to June 30.
Speaking after the team announcement, Team GB Chef de Mission Paul Ford told the Team GB website: "Minsk 2019 provides an important pathway towards Tokyo 2020 for sports.
"With automatic qualification of quota places for some, ranking points for others and three continental championships for sports, you can see why Team GB has such a strong delegation going to the Games.
"It's an exciting mix of athletes and I look forward to the second European Games and the performances that I’m sure will impress and excite in equal measure."
