Carlisle United have announced a fans' forum will take place next month where supporters will get the chance to put their questions across to manager Steven Pressley.

The forum will be held in the Sunset Suite at Brunton Park on Friday, March 8, ahead of the Blues' home match against Swindon the following day.

Pressley will be joined by assistant Tommy Wright, first-team coach Paul Murray, goalkeeping coach Craig Wight, chief executive Nigel Clibbens and director of football David Holdsworth.

The event, hosted by Carlisle United Supporters’ Groups (CUSG) in the Sunset Suite, where memorabilia from their fan-led project now adorns the walls, will be free to enter and will run from 6-8pm, with doors opening at 5.30pm.

CUSG chairman Simon Clarkson said: “It’s been a roller-coaster of a season already, but there’s a real buzz around the club at the moment.

“Steven Pressley has built on the momentum and we’ve made some really exciting signings. It will be great for the fans to hear from him and from the rest of the football staff.

“There’s no doubt this event will be very popular, so book early.

"For those who can’t make it in person, the event will be streamed live via the club’s Facebook page as this has proved to be a very popular method of providing coverage previously.”

United also say they will hold a collection on the evening for Jigsaw, Cumbria's Children's Hospice, while a raffle will be held for the same cause.

The bar will be open throughout for the sale of alcoholic and soft drink refreshments.

Places for the event must be booked through the Eventbrite booking page which can be found at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/fans-forum-with-steven-pressley-and-coaching-staff-friday-8-march-tickets-56232545056
