Strictly Come Dancing 2023 is now underway and with a first elimination set to occur in the second week of the series, the bookmakers have given their odds on who is most likely to go.

All scores from Week 1 carry over to Week 2 so it gives a chance for couples who may have underwhelmed first time out to save themselves.

Whilst the likes of Bobby Brazier and Nigel Harman are considered quite unlikely to go, there are a few more with heavy odds against them.

“Former Eastenders bad boy Nigel Harman comes in as the new second favourite, with odds of 7/2. His price has been cut as he was originally coming in at 8/1. Nigel and Katya are going to dance the Viennese Waltz to Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez.”

“Journalist Angela Scanlon comes in as third favourite. Her odds have drifted slightly since last week as she was coming in at 4/1, but now she comes in at 11/2. We will see Angela and Carlos Jive to the song Trouble by Shampoo.”

In the elimination market, the favourite star to be voted out this weekend is Nikita Kanda at 11/8. Partnered with Gorka, they are dancing the Charleston to Single Ladies by Beyonce.”

Close behind Nikita, Les Dennis has odds of 15/8 to be eliminated first. Dancing the Samba to Rock the Boat by Hues Corporation, can he steady the ship to safety?”

Paralympian champion Jody Cundy is third favourite to be eliminated first, with odds of 7/1. Jody and partner Jowita are dancing the Paso Doble, to Thunderstuck by AC/DC.”
