Katie Price makes plea to Strictly producers ahead of 2023 series

Alongside the spoof snap, the caption read: "Strictly 2023... Let's make it happen..."

The former reality TV star also teased in the comments section: "I've got moves you've never seen."

Fans rushed to Katie's comments to share their support and thoughts on her joining this year's cast.

One person shared: "Omg yes...can you imagine."

With praising hands emoji, another said: "Yessss this would be iconic."

While a third chimed in: "I’d actually watch it and I never watch strictly."

The fresh plea comes after the 'Mucky Mansion' star was said to be in "early talks" with BBC bosses to join the celebrity lineup three years ago.

A source told The Sun Online at the time: "It's really early days but she's in talks with bosses. She always jokes she's got two left feet but she would love to do it."

Katie's representative said that she was "open to negotiation," adding: "Katie is absolutely open to 'Strictly' talks, showing off her fancy footwork with a sassy Pricey Tango."

Peter Andre, her former husband, took part in the contest in 2015.
