Former English footballer Tony Adams described the judge's comments as "unfair" on the new Strictly Come Dancing.

The ex-Arsenal captain, partnered with Katya Jones danced the Cha Cha Cha to the hit sports show Grandstand theme tune.

The fan-favourite celebrity was sporting a tribute to Des Lynam jumper whilst Katya wore a tennis-inspired outfit as they provided high energy during the performance.

Throughout the dance there were hints of all types of sports, they even played a quick match of tennis.

But although they received cheers and a standing ovation from the audience, the judges were very honest with their words.

As Craig Revel Horwood said in some disbelief: "I don’t know how to describe what I’ve just seen. You put everything into it.”

Whilst Motsi Mabuse said "There's one movement you do I love so much. Before you do something big, there’s a kind of running for the ball and then going into promenade."

Adding: "Listen, you’re entertaining the nation, people are happy.”

Anton however said that he loved the Cuban break but he wasn't sure what the rest of it was.

After hearing the mixed reviews from the judges, Adams simply replied that he thought it was "unfair."

But although the judges might not be sure about the footballer's dancing skills, it's clear the nation loves him.

As he continues to fly through each week, receiving mass numbers of the public vote.

Getting his final scores of the week, Tony and Katya received a mix of numbers with a total of 19, including a three from Craig.
