The Premier League has issued a statement today (September 12) which details which of its football matches will go ahead and which will be postponed this weekend, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Football fans can look forward to some Premier League matches as the league returns this week however, some games are to be postponed.
The news comes as the EFL has confirmed matches scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday will go ahead.

Seven of the 10 Matchweek 8 fixtures will be played, with three postponed due to events surrounding The Queen’s funeral.
The Premier League tweeted a link to the statement, writing: "The #PL will resume this weekend after a pause to the season as a mark of respect following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
"Seven of the 10 Matchweek 8 fixtures will be played, with three postponed due to events surrounding The Queen’s funeral."
Brighton’s game against Crystal Palace is postponed.
Chelsea were due to play Liverpool while Manchester United were scheduled to take on Leeds on Sunday but these fixtures are no longer going ahead.
Postponed games will be issued new dates “in due course”, the online statement said.
