Mountain rescuers rushed to help a woman after she suffered a serious ankle injury on Walla Crag.
The 50-year-old had been walking with her partner when she slipped on wet grass.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team was called to the incident and carried the woman down to Rakefoot Farm.
She was given analgesia and splinted before being transferred to Cumberland Infirmary for treatment by ambulance.
The mountain rescue team attended at 12.24 on Friday, November 24.
