Three fire crews rushed out to a factory in Aspatria after a blaze broke out.
The fire was at the Sealy site in Station Road.
The call-out came in about 12.20pm today with firefighters from Aspatria, Wigton and Maryport attending the incident.
They had the blaze under control within about an hour.
It is believed the fire originated from a cooker on the site, a spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said.
Nobody was injured.
