A corporate services director in Cumbria has been recognised for 30 years of dedicated service.
Susannah Nixon, who works at accountancy firm Lamont Pridmore, was presented with a certificate by chief executive Graham Lamont to mark her three decades with the company.
A chartered accountant with a broad range of expertise, Ms Nixon leads the corporate services division and has experience in incorporations, accounting systems, company secretarial matters, corporation tax planning, and financial accounts compliance.
She has led audits for a wide range of clients including limited companies, charities, pension schemes, and public sector bodies.
Her work in the central audit team has made her well known to clients across the region, spending much of her time in offices from Southern Scotland to South Lakeland.
Mr Lamont praised her contributions, saying: "Susannah has been instrumental in the growth and development of Lamont Pridmore over the last 30 years.
"In the modern world of work, it is unusual to spend three decades with the same employer, so this is a landmark worth celebrating.
"We’re delighted that we have benefited from Susannah’s experience, wisdom and skills.
"She continues to provide excellent services to our client base and support to the colleagues around her – we truly value everything she has done."
Ms Nixon said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed the last 30 years at Lamont Pridmore and was honoured to receive this recognition from Graham.
"Everyone in the team has always been so helpful and I feel proud of the quality of service that we all provide to our clients."
Colleagues at the firm’s Workington office celebrated her milestone with a champagne toast.
Mr Lamont said: "We strive to be a supportive employer and when colleagues like Susannah build a 30-year career with us, it tells us we are doing something right."
Outside of work, Ms Nixon enjoys touring the Lake District and Scotland with her caravan, cycling along coastal routes, and hiking in the fells.
