POLICE have issued a road safety warning to parents of Plumpton Primary School children, after visiting the school at pick up time.
PCSO5368 visited the school near Penrith yesterday (September 16) to observe drivers at the busiest time of the school day.
In a plea to parents, the PCSO said: "I understand that when there are 100 children to collect, things are bound to get congested - but please do not block pavements with your vehicle putting children's lives at risk."
The Police Community Support Officer said that more patrols will follow.
