A section of Parkhouse Road, Kingstown, Carlisle, is set to close overnight.

The northbound carriageway, from 130 metres northwest of its junction with Kingstown Broadway to the junction with the A689, is set to shut for utility works.

The closure is scheduled from September 15, lasting approximately one night from 7pm to 4am.

Northbound vehicles will need to take an alternative route via the unrestricted section of the C1022, A7 Kingstown Road, and A689.

Access will be maintained for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
