POLICE in Carlisle are seeking the public's support with an investigation into vehicle theft and tampering on the outskirts of Carlisle.
Officers were called at 4.25am on August 27, 2026 to reports of a vehicle being stolen from Orton Grange Park, Orton Grange.
The vehicle was later involved in a collision.
Officers conducted enquiries and discovered that five other vehicles had been interfered with and items had been stolen.
A man and a woman were both arrested and later released on bail.
It is believed the vehicle travelled from Orton Grange Park, through Orton and crashed just outside Great Orton.
Officers are seeking witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage in these areas.
