Whitehaven man accused of speeding in County Durham

A WHITEHAVEN man has denied two motoring offences in County Durham.

Liam Jon Connor, 30, of Ennerdale Terrace, appeared at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, August 27.

Connor is accused of speeding in a Ford on the A66 Bowes Moor dual carriageway at Barnard Castle on May 3, 2025, and failing to provide driver information at Spennymoor on June 9, 2025.

Both cases were adjourned for trial.
