A charity is set to celebrate the heritage of the area around Carlisle's historic baths with a guided walk.
Taking place on Sunday, June 28, the tour will explore the heritage of Carlisle’s old Wapping area, led by the Friends of Carlisle Victorian and Turkish Baths.
Mary Galashan, events organiser for the Friends, said: "This walking talk offers an opportunity to discover more about the area immediately around the public baths."

The tour will cover the area’s history, including the origins of the ‘bog road,’ the impact of Victoria Viaduct, and the reasons behind the siting of the public baths.
Ms Galashan said the charity became deeply interested in Carlisle’s heritage through its campaign to preserve the baths.
The one-hour walk begins at 10.30am and aims to raise funds for the potential re-opening of the North West’s last remaining Victorian Turkish baths.
